SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Before you install KeywordFury, please make sure that you have the .NET Framework and Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package installed on your computer.  Also, to ensure maximum performance during generating keywords, you should disable any software that might slow down your Internet connection.

REGISTRATION

Before you start using KeywordFury, you must first register the program using the same Paypal ID (e-mail address) you have used for your purchase.

QUICK START

To start researching your keyword, just type it into the textbox on the top and press [Enter] key or click “Start” button. For your convenience, all your previous queries will be saved in dropdown list for quick later use. Optionally, you can also set the maximum number of keywords to generate – the tool will automatically stop soon after reaching that number. You can also stop it manually, by pressing the “Stop” button. When you’ve finished generating your keywords, you can save them or copy to the clipboard using the appropriate buttons. The application will always ask you if you want to save your keywords when you click “New” or “Exit” button.

PROGRAM SETTINGS

“GENERAL” TAB:

Language code

Sets the language for YouTube, Google Suggest and Adwords Keyword Tool. Default language code is “en” for English results.

Country

Sets the country in Adwords Keyword Tool – the default is “*” (asterisk) for all countries

Enable Google Adwords Keyword Tool

Enables scraping of Google Keyword Tool keywords – you need to enter your Adwords username and password if you want to use this feature.

Do only a single pass in Adwords

When this option is enabled, during scraping Google Keyword Tool, only one scrape will be done during generating keywords from GKT – this generally recommended, as Google Tool does not generate so many keywords as search suggestion services (like Google Suggest) and scraping just first 300 results (maximum results returned by GKT) is enough – it’s recommended to use this feature as a supplement to other keyword generating features of KeywordFury.

Use synonyms in Adwords

This setting represents the same feature from online version of Google Keywords Tool. Use when you need synonyms of the main keyword to be generated.

Include adult results

This setting represents the same feature from online version of Google Keywords Tool. Use when you need adult-related keywords to be generated.

Separate keywords with comma

Replaces Line Feed ([Enter] key) with comma- useful if you eg. want to quickly generate tags for your post or video.

Sort results and remove duplicates

Sorts currently loaded keyword list alphabetically and deletes any existing duplicates.

“ADVANCED” TAB:

Enable Yahoo! Search Assist

Activates keyword scraping from Yahoo! Search Assist service – a very large database of unique keywords, comparable to Google Suggest.

Enable Ask.com

Activates keyword scraping from Ask.com search suggestions – databasae significantly smaller than Google’s or Yahoo’s, but still good form medium-sized keyword lists.

Enable Google Suggest

Activates keyword scraping from Google Suggest – recommended for very large lists, very large database of keywords.

Enable YouTube

Activates keyword scraping from YouTube search suggestions – useful for eg. for blogs with video content or as a tag generator for YouTube.

Enable Bing

Activates keyword scraping from Microsoft’s Bing search engine.

Enable Amazon

Activates keyword scraping from Amazon search suggestions – very useful for affiliate marketing.

Enable eBay

Activates keyword scraping from eBay – service is currently in beta version, currently scrapes only the first 10 results, however some results are similar to Amazon’s.

Use keyword reversing and randomizing

Keyword reversing feature helps in building larger keyword lists. When enabled, it reverses main keyword and all currently generated keywords (in every line) using one of the two methods:

  • Semi reversing – it’s more accurate reversing and ensures that reversed keywords contain main keyword, for example: “britney spears perfume samples” becomes “perfume samples britney spears” and vice versa; the result keywords are added to the list and are being researched further to generate even more results.
  • Full reversing – this method reverses the whole keyword string, eg. “xbox diamond card” becomes “card diamond xbox”.

Use advanced scraping engine

Helps generating large, long-tailed keyword lists with results measured in thousands.

You can disable this feature, if you just want to quickly generate a few variations of main keyword, without the need to dig deeper for more keywords. Enabled by default.

General timeout

Timeout between scraping requests for all services – default value is 1000 milliseconds. You can increase the timeout if you have slow connection or any problems with retrieving keywords. Decrease, if you want to generate keywords faster, e.g.: for 1 Mbit/s ADSL connection the optimal value is 300 milliseconds.

“PROXY” TAB:

Enable proxy

When enabled, the program will be using proxy for connections for all services. HTTP proxies are supported.

FAQ & TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. 1. Can I get banned using this tool?

No, there’s no such possibility – currently none of those keyword suggestion services has applied any request limits. And you can always use proxy, in case of any trouble.

  1. 2. I can’t install KeywordFury or setup program generates an error?

Before you start the “setup.exe” program, make sure that you have Windows Installer 3.1 and Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your machine.

  1. 3. I can’t use some of the keyword scraping features or the program freezes and throws errors like “Yahoo parse error…”?

Unfortunately, some firewall and Internet security suite-type software makes keyword retrieval impossible from some services like Yahoo, Amazon and eBay. It was observed with Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0. The only solution to this problem is to temporarily disable your firewall/Internet security suite or change it to other.

  1. 4. I can use the program, but the keywords suggestion feature works very slow!

Please make sure that no other program is using the bandwidth or no firewall is blocking the incoming traffic for KeywordFury. You can also increase the timeout setting in program options.
